I was wondering if the Darwin Award has ever been celebrated on a stamp.
M. Didier Cuidet and an ever-hopeful nature brought it to mind.
Thanks in advance.

......and there I was, looking through my Darwin stamps
I was sure I had read something about the award.
Then I read wikipedia.
sometimes ignorance is not bliss.
I fell for it, hook line and sinker.

Nothing to 'fall for', it's a real award, given posthumously.

from what I read, you have just made a freudian slip.

"posthumourously" may be closer to the mark than you think.

what award, I wonder, will they bestow on the
the person, by their own stupidity, removes us all
from the gene pool?

Admiral "spike" blandy, mrs blandy and rear admiral
lowry with their creation: "Atomic age angel food"

Stanley Gibbons catalogue SG721-726 1996
Marshall Islands
32c each stamp with 8c going to the Bikini people.

did Gene Roddenberry ever get his Startrek stamps? Must be a good idea for
the Marshall Islands? Anyone in touch with that bunch?

I am not a trekky, so I am not aware if the 24c is inverted.

Any fan would recognise that the ship is the Millenium Falcon of Star Wars
fame - and nothing to do with Star Trek at all.

(This contribution from a man who only realised years later that Dynasty and
Dallas - that seemed to be the centre of entertainment news for a decade -
were separate programmes)

Groan!
again.......publicly humiliated.

(It's a money thing, I'm so broke, I can't even pay attention)
