Default Duplicate auctions

Found these when looking up information about another post this
morning.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW
And
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW

The seller asks the buyer to judge grade for himself before bidding.
The coin is the same in both auctions.

I wouldn't want the coin with the two major dings. There are too many
nice 1967 dollars available. The picture makes me wonder how bad the
other coins must look.

"Anita" pointed out the following about the two auctions:
The seller asks the buyer to judge grade for himself before bidding.
The coin is the same in both auctions.

Every time I see one of these "long necked goose" coins, it irks me. I
bought one of these about a year ago on eBay, but the seller never sent it
and never replied to my emails. I guess my only satisfaction comes from his
having been booted off of eBay after he received about a dozen negs in the
space of a couple of weeks....

The 1967 dollar is a bit of a trinket. There are few that are in good
shape. A good one will go for $200. Most of them aren't even worth the
postage unless one is looking to complete a set.

I wrote the seller and he answered that all the coins looked
identical. I wanted to ask him if they both had the identical bag mark
and spot, but I let it go. I would like to have a goose to go with my
1967 wolf and rabbit, but only a good one.

I'm surprised that anyone would use the goose to scam people. It must
have been a MS64 or better. I can't see a thief risking jail time for
$1 plus postage :-)
