Not in the auction business. Because the sellers want to maximize their
returns, the market leader will quickly pull ahead and become a
near-monopoly. Conversely, second place will naturally fall to become a
distant second.

Possibly but as I said in my previous posting, "if someone with *really*
much money would like to open such a site";-)
The key phrase here is "*really much money", so he/they can afford to make
some *really* special offers to the sellers in order to win their
fidelity......
