Beatrix Potter - 1987 editions - Query
I have a collection of 1987 editions of Beatrix Potter books. Some of the
books have just the title of the book on the spine of the book cover, and some books have both the title and the number of the book on the spine of the book cover. Does anyone know the reasons for this and what the difference is between the two editions. |

Assuming the publisher is Frederick Warne then my best guess is that the numbered editions were part of a boxed set whereas the non-numbered were just one of Warnes many reissues. Stan |
