Oh man; missed Cheap Trick!

Cheap Trick is playing in about an hour and 10 minutes I believe at
Norfolk Navy Base. Free; open to the public; part of saying goodbye
to the F-14 Tomcat (plane made famous in Top Gun movie).

If someone is reading this and can make it in time (by the time we eat
and I change and we make it through the tunnel-it's a lost cause for
me).

You can get graphs EASY at this event. You have to know where to go.
As you come in, there are a couple trailers. They go in there for
"hospitality". You have to be really quiet and inconspicuous and only
go there AFTER the concert and quickly and don't let others see you.
If a big crowd gathers, you'll get the Security Police and their dogs
after ya. But if you are quiet about it, it's all good; all you do is
call them over....

Cheap Trick can be iffy anymore. I lvoe that band but now Bun E will
only sign one for youand acts kinda cranky. Rick can just be
obnoxious. Robin and Tom are always great. If you're in the fan club
you can talk with Carla and she'll get stuff done for you.

On the plus side they always put on a great show!

Maybe I'll look into the fan club and see if they'll be in the area
ever again. I am bummed I missed them; they're one of only a couple
bands I have on my list to see from the 70's/early 80's.
