Default Long Beach Coin Show

At approximately 8:00am this morning (9/20/03) an overhead pipe in the
bourse area of the Long Beach Coin show broke. Water was cascading
down to the floor for about 10 minutes. Lot viewing for the Heritage
auctions was going on. The bourse was evacuated and as of 11:00am
only a select number of dealers (those who had been impacted directly
had been let back into the bourse. Approximately 20 tables were
directly affected either by direct water hits from the broken pipe or
standing water on the floor.

They allowed the public in at 12:00 noon.

I got there around 12:05 and they let me in for only $3. I guess they
discounted the entry fee to the public for the "inconvenience".
