Your college education is showing. It's "you're", Mr. GED.

sigh I know I am going to regret getting into this. But, as the son,
grandson, nephew and son-in-law of veterans, I feel the need to point
out that President George W. Bush cut funding for health care benefits
of WW2 and Viet Nam veterans.

If you don't believe me, go to any search engine and look it up. Type
in "Bush cut veteran benefits" or anything like that, and you'll find
lots of information about it.

IT IS A FACT.

If you still think Bush cares about veterans, fine. I am not going to
argue or try to change anyone's mind(s). But the fact remains, for a
guy who uses military images rather consistently to get his points
across, he has cut quite a bit of money out of the VA budget. If you
can reconcile or justify that in your head, good for you. I say actions
speak louder than words.

This is how our nation treats its "heroes." We send them off to get
shot at, we expose them like Guinea Pigs to things like Agent Orange,
we spit on them when they get back, then when they get old and frail we
elect a man who cuts their health care.

So, the next time you see a veteran, you damn well better thank him.
And as soon as you are done thanking him, you might want to apolgize to
him on beahlf of the rest of this nation.
