Billy Ford, the family scion, is trying to salvage what's left of Ford
after the Nasser Disaster, but he hasn't the intelligence nor the
tools to do the job. Not that they're in any real danger from GM,
which is imploding due to mismanagment. You'll remember when Ford
started its "death spiral" (similar to that suffered by AT&T under Bob
Allen) when Henry Ford II ran the company into the ground in the late
'70s, fueled by booze, pills and paranoia. I've oft thought Henry
Ford II was a similar mental case to Charlie Nudo. Could you imagine
the damage Noodles would do if he had that kind of money and power at
his command?

Another excellent example of why the "death tax" should be retained
and even increased...lineage has no bearing on quality, and stupid
people with lots of money are deleterious to society. Just look at
the Ford and DuPont families. An exception to the rule: The
Rockefellers. It's possible that every succeeding generation of
Rockefellers has been doing good works for society as if to make up
for the sins of J.D. and his Standard Oil and other trusts. If you
have half a brain, you'll see where the oil congloms in the US are now
every bit as nefarious in their power, what with all the mega mergers
and record profits off the backs of working Americans stuck with a
non-existant US transportation policy.
