Default called mint, SAE sets

i called customer service on the 16th of nov. in regards why i have not
received my set that was mailed on oct.27th she informed me that the
set was shipped out on the 27th by 3rd class mail and that it would take
three weeks. and if i didn`t receive it by the 27th of nov. call, and
they would ship enother set. i also ask her if the mint had any reports
of the SAE sets stolen from the u.s. mail, she said no, no sets have
been reported missing. in june i ordered two silver proof sets, two
weeks later they shipped the sets with a working tracking # i tracked
the shipment to jacksonville, fl. where the tracking ended. then after
two weeks i called the post office and ask them why this shipment
stopped at jacksonville, they said that they would find out, two days
later i received the package? hmmmmm makes a person wonder.

Take heart. I received my SAE set order today. It was allegedly shipped on
30 Oct. It was marked DHL Express from the Fulfillment Center but must have
gone by Pony Express to the Post Office here in Santa Maria, then it was
delivered out by USPS. What a goat rope!!!

Oh, BTW, it was worth the wait. The coins are stunning!

Ed, you are right about the use of the pony express. Mine took a while, but
it was worth the wait. The coins really look great. I'm tempted to order
another set but my wife has other ideas of what she could use that $100
for...

Too late to order any more from the mint. A message now advises that
they are sold out. I ordered some more sets last week and at the time
was told hat I would get them. It now sez that I will not get them.

I ordered mine on Sept. 1 and I just got a shipping conformation
today--which doesn't mean a whole lot since I've gotten a shipping
confirmation from them before after I already got the stuff.

Just an observation--one of my favorite on-line coin dealers had these sets
for $299.95 and he was sold out in less than a week.
