More than likely you have a broken ladder switch segment in the keyboard
selector switches. Some times the sliding metal contacts will break off the bakelite pieces that are connected to the switch shaft, and that will cause the machine to select just a single number (or letter) group. Take the selector switch assembly out of the game and very carefully examine each of the switches; you should be able to see one that is not operating as expected. It's also possible that you have a short in the wiring from the keyboard switches to the selection receiver; perhaps a pinched cable?
