Particularly those who think today is "hundreds" of years removed from
when these coins were struck. Try 2,400-plus years.

It's an interesting coin, with the three cuts all on the reverse. Seems
a touch on the expensive side for a mutilated coin. My memory might be
playing tricks with me but I could almost swear that pieces like these
(with only one cut) were selling for circa $100 roughly this time last
year.
