Default What happened to St. Louis?

2004 World Series was a complete destruction by Boston. Granted
Boston's three starters (Martinez-Schilling-Lowe) threw about 20
scoreless innings but St. Louis won 105 regular season games!
The Cardinals played like zombies. Was it the classic "dear in the
headlights" scenario? As a lifelong Red Sox fan im in complete ecstasy
because of the WS win, but am also amazed at the relative ease of the 4
game-sweep.......Cardinals were almost the equivalent of the Bad News
Bears. Just curious for anyones opinion on this matter. Dan.
