FA: HIGH GRADE MARVEL CGC COMICS CLOSING TODAY!

The countdown begins as we approach the close of some of the nicest CGC
books W. R. Collectibles has offered so far this year. It's all part of our
Valentines celebration where we've listed more than 125 Marvel comics
covering Silver, Bronze, and Modern age titles including Amazing Spider-Man,
X-Men, and Fantastic Four. There's excellent representation of all periods.
The big books begin closing today with a grouping of five Amazing

white. Stan Lee story with John Romita Sr cover art and pages by John Romita
Sr., John Buscema, and Jim Mooney. A true collector's book, this is indeed
an excellent example and is 1 of only 10 graded 9.6 by CGC out of 64

Stan Lee story with Steve Ditko cover and artwork. Appearances from The
Human Torch, The Enforcers, and Sandman. Currently at $380.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 38 CGC 4.5, NO RESERVE! Interior pages are cream to
off-white. This was the last issue to feature Steve Ditko artwork on the
Amazing Spider-Man title and also features the second appearance of Mary
Jane Watson as a cameo (face not shown) as well as the intro of Norman
Osborne (although at this time it is not revealed he is the Green Goblin).
Overstreet value at $50, this is an incredible steal at $22.49!

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 98 CGC 9.4, NO RESERVE! Interior pages are off-white. Gil
Kane cover and artwork. A highly prized element of any ASM collection this
issue along with #96 and #97 contained storylines involving the drug
addiction of Harry Osborne that was not approved by the Comics Code
Authority as well as another epic battle against the Green Goblin. This is
the conclusion of that arc and is a must have in a beautiful 9.4 NM grade.

Closing Thursday we have a collection of 5 Bronze age X-men comics from
#100-#129 all above NM condition (9.6-9.8). These gems would make exciting

issue features the battle between Dr. Steven Lang's X-Sentinels and the new

in the top 5% graded by CGC. A solid 9.6 with white pages, only 4 other

issue features the first appearance of The Starjammers but just as
importantly it chronicles the new team's first encounter with the X-Men's

this is one of only three copies of X-Men #104 graded 9.8 by CGC out of 164

Professor Xavier struggles to maintain control of his powers and dark side!
For those of you who remember, this story was translated to the small screen
in the X-Men Saturday morning cartoon featured on Fox-TV during the 1990s.
Owning this copy is a mark of prestige in itself, as this is one of only
three copies of X-Men #106 graded 9.8 by CGC out of 163 graded! THERE ARE
NONE HIGHER!

X-MEN 128 CGC 9.6 PROTEUS CONC, NO RESERVE! Interior pages are off-white to
white. This issue features the conclusion of the first Proteus arc in X-Men
and related titles! The X-Men battle against Moira McTaggart's son Kevin to
save Edinburgh and the world! For those of you who remember, this story was
translated to the small screen in the X-Men Saturday morning cartoon
featured on Fox-TV during the 1990s. This is one of the better examples of
this issue, with only 9 graded higher by CGC out of 332 graded.
