Default colored pennies

I found some pennis while roll searching that looked really odd. Can
someone help me identify them? -

Techie,

I can get those same effects by accidentally running them through
the washer and dryer with a load of clothes.

take care,
Scott

So the toning doesn't have any value?

Oh well, even if it doesn't, it still looks pretty cool!

Here, I was gonna be a smarta$$ and tell Techie that these are US One
Cent pieces! Sorry, just in a strange mood today. Maybe it's because
it's the second snowfall for us, this winter!

I do like the toning effects on these cents! There probably isn't any
monetary value, since these are very common modern cents. But, I'd
probably keep them for coolness factor!

Can you really get the same effect from running them thru the washer and
dryer? I gotta try that!

Just put them in a pan on the stove. You can even make them look like steel cents.

Hey! That's fun! I'm gonna try that at home, tonight!

Don't worry, I won't be selling them as Monster Toned rarities on ebaY!

Do a batch at a time, once they start to turn color, they go fast. That way you'll
get an assortment like I did.

High heat, no oils, and a pan that your spouse doesn't care about.
