Brian and Adam,

I strongly advise you to pursue this issue and have Bob Scarborough
SHUT OFF from his newsreader access.

Now you see, Bob will do anything to try to win a flame war- he has
already been disciplined repeatedly on the moderated group he belongs
to- and his personality has been described by the members there as an
"unhealthy obsession" with Usenet flame threads.

Interestingly enough, Bob has started posting again on the group he was
trying to kill, see for youself- so what exactly WAS he trying to do ?

Answer: He was simply trying to destroy the group, because he lost a
flame war.

rmgroups are meaningless. Obsessing over them is like watching

"The alt.config FAQ is still very current, just ugly as a bowling

Any idiot can SEND a control message for any reason, or for no reason
Newgroups don't create newsgroups; rmgroups don't remove newsgroups

As far as I know your NIMBY was created februar 19, 2004.
Of course, like in every NIMBY, nobody has posted to it.

A control for alt.config teaches something about the value of a
control message.--2Rowdy, alt.config (July 24, 2004)
Perhaps you've failed to realize that lack of ability to
establish a newsgroup has not troubled proponents of the vast
majority of alt newsgroups.--Adam Kerman, alt.config(January 7th,2005)
-joke proposals don't work if they're too close to reality. it would be

Do your own ****ing dirty work, fight your own damn battles... this
whimpering to alt.config to solve your problems is pathetic.

Now you see, Bob will do anything to try to win a flame war- he has
already been disciplined repeatedly on the moderated group he belongs
to- and his personality has been described by the members there as an
"unhealthy obsession" with Usenet flame threads.

And if you ****wits would ignore him the threads would dry up and go
away..

Interestingly enough, Bob has started posting again on the group he was
trying to kill, see for youself- so what exactly WAS he trying to do ?

Answer: He was simply trying to destroy the group, because he lost a
flame war.

And you're continuing this idiocy for the same reason?

You know, you're only proving, over and over, that you imbeciles can't
leave a thread alone.
