Is Canada's We(s)t Coast any wetter than coastal,
ever-rainy Denmark, or even more rainy GB??

An interesting question, Mette. The answer: Vancouver is wetter than

either
Copenhagen or London. *Way* wetter! I searched Google and came up with

these
statistics:

Average Annual Rainfall for:

-- Vancouver 1117.2 mm / 43.98"
-- Copenhagen 650mm / 25.6''
-- London 799mm / 32"

hmm. In that case I must say that you are nearly
drowned! We feel it bad enough here to be in eternal
outdoor showers ...

Mette

Nah, the Long Beach Peninsula of Washington gets 81.6" average per
year and that's not nearly the wettest area in the Olympic Peninsula.

Most of it comes in Nov-Feb.
