FS: Display Case

Last night I attended the local coin club meeting.

During the auction, this display case came up for sale;

I don't need such an item, but it was an item that had no reserve so I bid
$5. Someone else bid $6 and I bid $7. Etc., etc.

I ended up the winner, but at $15.

When I got home, I couldn't understand why I had bid for something that I
did not need or want, except I do remember another coin club member saying
he had bought an identical display case for $20, prior to the auction.

Anyway, the case holds 16 coins and I am guessing it is for American silver
eagles held in plastic round containers. It seems to be a dark blue foam
substance that lines the bottom of the case, the area where the coins are to
be held. The holes are about 2 inches in diameter, maybe a sixteenth less.
The case measures 2" x 12" x 17". Weight is something over 2 pounds, but I
do not have scales that go over 2 lbs., here at the DQ. It looks decent,
but does not look new, sturdy but some wear.

I am going to figure $8 uninsured shipping, $9 insured. (5 lbs. calculates
to $7.75, I profit if it is less than 5 lbs., I take a small hit if it is
over 5 lbs.

So, it can go for $23 uninsured or $24 insured.
