Default How To Filter/Block Sellers On Ebay/

How does one block/filter listings by undesirable sellers when browsing
through listings on Ebay?

I think someone said it can be done, so kindly advise.

TIA

On the Advanced Search page there is a From Sellers option which
enables you to include or exclude up to 10 sellers.

Now if anyone can tell me how to set up a search for "crystal
palace" (the building) without getting everything for the football
team ... (Yes I've got -football on the search line, but they still
get through.)

Regards,

Chris

The problem with the "Advanced search" approach is that it is fine if you are always looking for, say "coils" from all but your
unfavorite 3 sellers but, if you change your mind what you want to buy today, you have to jump through all sorts of hoops. I know
I've said it before but I am allowed to repeat myself as I am over 50! What ebay should let me do is to set up a universal search
that ALWAYS excludes lots from xyzseller or that have L@@K or RARE!!! in the title. OK, I will inevitably miss something good but
I'll survive.

We all run into your "crystal palace" problem - I like to buy junk items from Cornell University and a search for Cornell turns up
millions of hits for authors and singers, too. About the only way around it is with the "-" keywords or, once you have the search
list displayed, click on the category tabs on the left hand side of the screen.

Cheers - John

And "otw" would presumably be "otherwise".

Thanks for the decode.

Actually, it is probably "....a fifty-foot leap...." but they are
about equivalent lengths.
