Dear Fellow 8-Track Enthusiasts
I have a new score to share. It happened this afternoon. I went to a Super Flea Market in another area of Western New York called Cheektowaga and I found 7 8-Tracks.A couple of old lady's were selling them and I was overjoyed to find these. These were the first 8- Tracks that I've found in a long time and I couldn't resist these.Below is the list of what I have found: The Ultimate Engelbert Humperdinck Marty Robbins: With Love,Marty Robbins Two by Frank Sinatra: That's Life Greatest Hits Volume 1 The Lettermen:All Time Greatest Hits Two that are still sealed Elvis Presley: I Got Lucky(This is a Pickwick reissue, which is white shelled with a protective plastic cap covering up the playing area) Joe Venuti In Milan(Blue Shelled GRT cart of a Vanguard Recording Society release) I tried out a few of them. The Marty Robbins cart played beautifully without the splice breaking. The latter three, the Sinatra's and Lettermen carts need new pads and possibly new splices.Hopefully,I will be sending these to Kate's Track Shack next month to get them tuned up so they will sound better.I sent out a whole bunch of carts a few months back and when I got them back,I tried most of them out and they sound terrific. They actually sounded better than when I bought them initially. I just thought that I would share this with all of you.I hope that all of you have a nice evening.Sincerely Frank R.Schoonover P.S.I also scored on Ebay recently.I won Billy Joel's Greatest Hits Volumes 1 & 2.Billy Joel's Piano Man,which is the original black shelled Ampex cart and KISS' debut album, which is also the original black shelled Ampex cart. |

Frank, with all due respect all these carts you mentioned are nothing spectacular, other than "filler" used in bulk sales lots for 25 cents each or so. The only cart of interest there even remotely valuable or slightly rare, if at all- is KISS s/t debut I mean really, Billy Joel and Sinatra ? good artists, and I respect it if you like that music, but their carts are nearly worthless |

Noodles Has Some Nerve Saying "With All Due Respect"

The way you just attacked Frank with your remarks about his score shows that as proof of you not having any respect for anyone. Not only that, your obsessive behavior with Desert Bob and Ricky is also proof of this. The way you try to point the finger at both of them for the **** that you cause here trying to make them look like the guilty ones and then try to erase hoping that no traces are left behind is also proof of this. Not only that, you know that you are just puffing smoke because you know that nobody in here even wants you around. Put all of this together and what do you get? A man who has NO RESPECT for anyone and that even includes himself. I know that the truth hurts Noodles. But that is your own fault. You brought this on yourself. Apparently, you are still ****ed off over losing one of your best customers because of the way you are. Again Noodles,as stated above, IT'S ALL YOUR OWN FAULT. I mean really, Billy Joel and Sinatra ? *good artists, and I respect it if you like that music, *but their carts are nearly worthless Actually Noodles, as Kayak144 stated, there is sentimental value and sentimental value is priceless.I also do have to point out that there are some carts by these artists that were only made available through Record Clubs such as Columbia House and RCA Music Service and Billy Joel's Greatest Hits Volumes 1 & 2 is no exception. That means that this is a rare cart because there wern't too many of them produced or sold. That, in the eyes and heart of any collector, that is like GOLD. The only thing that your personal attacks are showing is that you have NO RESPECT for anyone, not even yourself. Take my advice,Noodles. You better quit while your ahead. |

Yes it has. The reason why is because I am not going to let you crush my joy and enthusiasm over this latest find that I made.I am happy to have found these and I will always be happy regarding that. NO personal attack or insults that you make at me isn't going to change a thing about the way I feel. What I am trying to say is that you just made a fool of yourself. By the way, as a sidenote, those carts that I bought off of you on Ebay are sounding a lot better than when I first bought them. I had Kate's Track Shack fix them with Win-Gib pads and the splices were also replaced and they sound better than ever. I am going to be sending them a lot more carts for them to fix in the near future. How does that grab you?Frank R.Schoonover |

Who gives a rip WHAT you think, Noodles? If he gets the carts, plays them, fixes them and enjoys them, who they hell are you to denigrate his choices? Only a feckless moron, that's who...and that would be Charlie "Zito" Nudo. To me, he has a very broad choice of musical fare from which to listen...because he has an open mind. Yours can't even be open, since it doesn't even exist anymore. Must be all that mercury shorting out your synapses. Got blood cancer yet? NO PEP NOODLES! I suppose his cart choices and luck on finding them are somehow inferior to your rusted out auto parts scams on fleaBay, according to you. You already had a lot of the people in the Pontiac forum (which you were thrown out of, despite being a "founding member", which you falsely claimed) laughing at you...again...Zito. |

After years of being pummeled on Usenet, "Noodles" still doesn't "get it." He's just as bullheaded, arrogant and disgusting as that whack job Scalia on the Supreme Court. (See "60 Minutes" section on cbs.com for a replay, if you didn't catch the Leslie Stahl interview last night.) Only problem Zito Noodles has is that he's much, much dumber and has zero credulity. It'd be funny if they even looked the same! |
