Default Had to cut back...

My oldest sister has recently developed an interest in old coins. For her
birthday last year, I gave her a nice 1849 Seated Dime. (She was born in
1949, and I thought it would be neat to get her a coin that was 100 years
old when she arrived on the scene.) She absolutely loved it! Just went on
and on about it, and it was indeed one of those small gifts that you are
really glad that you gave. I just now sent her a nice 1849 Seated Half Dime.
I enclosed a note that said that this year had brought some unpleasant
surprises to my employment status and that my finances were not as flush as
last year. In consequence, I was not able to send another dime, but hoped
that she could make do with a HALF dime this year. My guess is that she
will like this one even better!

But Larry, there's no such thing as contracting just HALF of the coin
disease! And she's so young! Think of the collection she might build!
Look what you have done!

Unfortunately the lab at the South Pole which produces the anti-numismatic
antidote was overrun by a terrorist band of penguins so it will be at least
five years before any more antidote is available. However Cold Turkey is still
in stock.

I prefer Wild Turkey to cold turkey.
Merry Christmas!
