Thanks Peter,
it just appeared by accident, ready to be numbered. Actually I have it as SG38b 4kon overprint Feb-April 1920 unboxed Capital "H" (Hayasdan) opt in black 50c if unforged, which I doubt. I have over 300 armenian opts which I shall look into in another life "Peter Baumann" wrote in message ... rodney schrieb: Seeking SG numbers if possible, or just country and year perhaps. Actually, I note from previous assistance either from Gerhard, or your good self, a German cat lists them as 1919. I have 3 types of this opt, and they all look like "weeds" http://cjoint.com/data/icx4q3otKH.htm rodney "rodney" pookiethai@NOSPAM iprimus.com.au wrote in message ... Looks like it, from my quite limited knowledge of Cyrillic ...
His two mates to the left don't exactly inspire confidence, though, do they? Tony of the Antipathies rodney wrote: Thank you. I have placed them in the "Admiral Kolchak" album That's him (I think) 3rd row down, 3rd from LHS http://cjoint.com/data/iebjdyQOzB.htm |

Funnily enough, with the gent on the LHS, I was thinking of Gazza and Droopytash. By comparison, that fellow on the LHS has some erection. I wonder what they ever used to train it so? sugared water? Interesting lesson there in graphic design Tony, notice how, in the Admiral's issue, the decorative scrolls are drawn outside the border of the subject, softening the image, and making the stamp fuller, smoother and (imho) more attractive.
