This should be fun ....
Yesterday we brought home our newest member of the family. He came with
a name that I don't particularly care for. Here he is:
http://www.error-coins.com/misc/ferret.jpg
He is 5 years old and the sweetest guy in the house. They live to be
around 7 years old so he's no spring chicken.

What I'd like to do is to is seek some help from my fellow RCC
subscribers to come up with a new name for him. I feel funny about
changing his name but I honestly don't think he will mind in the least.

Contest rules:
Post replies here to RCC with your name proposal. On Friday night I'll
go over all of the proposed names with my family and we will pick a new
one. If we decide not to use any of the names, I'll still give the prize
to the one that we thought was the coolest name.
I'll post the winning name late Friday night or sometime on Saturday.
Enter as many names as you'd like but don't go overboard please.

Prize:

Not it's not a new type of slab. I pasted the reverse of the coin next
to the obverse so you could view both sides.

Have fun!

Don't care if he is a Ferret or a Weasel,
his name should be Easel.

Carl.

He's definately a Carl.

Or, maybe a Frank.

No, I think he's a Carl.

Do I get credit for both names?

Initially, I thought "Newbie." Then I remembered a hamster I had as a kid and
thought "Gus." After pondering the picture, I thought "Bubba." Then after
checking out the prize (mini-drool, there), I thought "Zeke" (kind of a spin on
zinc, not that it has anything to do with a steelie). Okay, four entries:

Newbie
Gus
Bubba
Zeke

Jerry
(no, "Jerry" isn't an entry) :-)

"Jason C" got hisself a ferret:
