I was shocked to read this. I'm #10 on top posters for this month...
Just found it recently. If you wanna see where you are,

There were several years a few years ago that I was in the top ten posters
consistently.
And for a while I made it to the top 10 all time posters. Haven't posted much
lately and have used multiple
addresses too, so I am no longer listed in the top :-) My interests have tended to
diverge from the mainstream
discussions usually encountered on rcc.

Actually, people who keep such records need to get a life. I get most
annoyed when I follow a thread on this board with the bottom posters and
have to scrooooooooooooollllllllllllllllllll! down though posts I've already
read.

I guess some people just choose to live in the past.

I remember back in the day when I would make the top 10 list. I'm amazed
that Reid is still among the top 10 posters.

Why would that amaze you? Note, I'm addressing this to John. My saying
this of course won't prevent one of the flame people from responding
and trying to turn this thread into a flamefest. We'll see. I find it
hard to believe that you would be trying to do this yourself. So
uncharacteristic. Yet you mention only me when you could easily have
posted interesting observations as well about others on the top
month's and top all-time list. As just one example, Big Fred is still
number two on the all-time list. That's pretty interesting, I think.
Of course changing email addresses, spam induced or otherwise, renders
the all-time list less than accurate, though still interesting in its
way.

I'm personally not surprised at my statistics. I still post here but
not as much as I did when I first got back into coin collecting. Over
the past few years my interests have taken me from U.S. coinage
primarily to ancient coinage primarily and U.S. coinage secondarily,
and most people here of course focus on U.S. coinage, though I haven't
a clue as to why. g

I used to have fun pulling together these kinds of statistics back in
the late 1980s/early 1990s with a local BBS, which was my entry into
the online world. People for the most part liked it, though it can be
surprising, and a bit disconcerting, for some people to see how often
they post.
