Default Sweden: wanted.

Would anyone have a *.dbf file with the Swedish Catalogue
(numbers,(any provider type), description (any language) and value type?

I have a daunting task to sort several thousand issues,
and this will save enormous time, if I can cross reference
value/descriptions/dates.

I can offer 2,500 Australian numbers/descriptions in return.

Thanks

Rodney, only a few months ago I gave away my CD-rom edition of Facit, but if
you can do with the printed edition of the Facit Catalogue, Millennium Ed,
you can have mine for free. Images are b/w, but texts are in Swedish and
English. It includes Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Greenland,
Danish West Indies, Iceland, Finland, and Aaland. I used it for
catalogueing Slania-issues from these countries up to 1999, so it's well
used with bookmarks, highliters etc. Let me know.

Thank you Mette,
that's very kind of you, however I do have the Scandinavian
specialists Catalogue.
In my own quirky way, I prefer the hard yakka of sorting bulk lots
by sorting values, then arranging years.
For example I generally trade in quantities of 1000, and when
I have done a major soak, I can get 5,000-10,000 aussie sorted
in their envelopes in just one evening.
Most of my collections are reasonably well advanced but Sweden
has only 280 numbers. With a database, one can lift all the 5 ore
values in 1 click for example, or search an out of sequence issue
by portrait name. (SG is horrendous for out of sequencers)

BTW, you want to see my Catalogues talk about highliters,
when I open mine at bourses, I get all sorts of strange looks
Catalogues are for constant use hey? :-) mine are dog eared,
scribbled notes, stick-it notes, bookmarks etc etc.

I find it interesting to find, I really am beginning to prefer hardcover
to the CD Roms put out at the moment.
I find the navigating and the scan sizes a bit poor in the latest offerings.
I like my scans filling the screen, up close and personal.

Cheers.

Hi Mette,
I tried to email you but I see that the email adress for answer is not
on heindorffhus. So I send an email on heindorffhus, hope it's always
a valid adress ;o)

For Rodney, the online SG catalogue may be useful for this kind of
resarch?? I never use it but the opinions were good on this website in
the frp members.
