Default Rowe/AMI CD 100 A & C Problems

I will check the connectors. I believe it is doing what you stated. Thanks.

I would clean the disk, clean the lens, and then clear the disk conditions.
Upgrading to the pro player will fix it but it could get costy. You need to
replace the cdm, cdm platform, decoader board, power supply PCB, and a few
wireing changes. If you get the parts new they could come to over $600. Good
luck finding used parts.
For that kind of money I might try one of these:

Unless you are wanting to stick to standard parts.
The other suggestions here are good too.

Since I do not wish to seduce women instantly but would rather get my

jukes
running here is a question for the group. I have the above mentioned

machines
that have developed the same problem. The music craps out in the middle

of a
song for up to 20 seconds and then picks up later in the song and

continues to
play. They both work fine most of the time but will occasionally exhibit

this
rather annoying sympton. They both have the original Phillips mechs. Do

I
need to make the conversion to the Pro players or is it in the computer

board?
Can I clear the problem out of the computer somehow? If I need a Pro

player
where can I get them, how much do they cost and how hard is it to make the
change? I can do 50's Seeburgs in my sleep but these beasts are over my

head.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Glenn

Sometimes the "Service" switch gets dirty contacts internally. Try
tapping on the service switch black metal housing and see if the
machine acts up.
