WWI/WWII US Veterans Parade Helmet w/ case
This WWI/WWII U.S. Veterans Parade Helmet is all original and in its cloth carrying bag. The helmet is a "Dough-Boy" type helmet that is all aluminum. The helmet is gold painted (original paint) and has a American Legion device on the front. The inside has a cloth liner and has the manufactures label (The Lilley Co., Columbus, Ohio). It also has the owners name. The helmet has the original leather chinstrap, all in excellent condition. The chinstrap is soft and flexible. The cloth bag has a pull string tie and is marked (5) and (Greenland). This came from the 1st American Veterans Post formed in Elyria, Ohio. Overall condition is excellent.
