Default UNPA Geneva - a Friendly Postal Administration

The United Nations Postal Administration in Geneva, Switzerland, is one of
those administrations who still use real stamps on covers that it send to
its philatelic customers, contrary to the practice of many other postal
administrations.

As a homage to the philatelically friendly politics of this administration,
I have updated the page that displays stamps, cancels and slogans that I
have personally received from the UNPA during the last decade. The displayed
pieces of covers weren't "fabricated" for stamp collectors, they represent
just the usual postal traffic. Maybe they aren't perfect, but in my eyes
they are nice, different and for this reason very attractive.

The problem with UNO-Genf is that when one from the Americas orders
from them, they send the orders back asking that it be sent to New
York.

I see no advantages to order at the UN Geneva from the US. IMHO, both Geneva
and NY UNPA offices have the same stamps to offer.

Except for the CTOs one gets as change in SFr and the postally used
SFr stamps on envelopes affixed to cover higher value international
rates. There have been times when the Geneva office had materials
on its sales list that was offered nowhere else, i.e. revalued
postcards with FD cancellations, blue cards with show cancellations,
and some other things I can't recall right now, but that I had to have
correspondents in Europe order for me and send onward.
