Book Plate Question
I recently received an autographed bookplate from John Glenn...now me
question... what is the best way to attach it to the book? Should I use glue, which is apt to crinkle the book plate... Any advice is welcomed. Thanks DG ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |

It should be self gummed and you're your right; certain glues can
buckle and yellow. I collect signed bookplates. I have quite a few but I don't put them in the books. I keep then in a binder. If I ever sell the book and want to give the bookplate with it, I can or keep it... Also, I received a signed book from self-help guru Stephen Covey. Even he sent the book with a signed bookplate and left it up to me if I wanted to attach it or not. But it if's your desire to put it in, probably just use a damp sponge (not too wet) on the back and make sure corners are wet too; those are the areas to peel up first.
