Just my thoughts

Too bad what has happened to this newsgroup, and other groups that has
folded, there are no traders here any more, does anyone remember how it was
before all these sales men took it over? It was a nice place to come and do
some trading with a large group of other people who was interested in
trading. There is nothing wrong with selling your cards, but when these
people saturate the newsgroup with sales it infringes on peoples hobby
instead they are just trying to use a nice relaxing hobby to make money. It
takes the fun out of collecting.

Now they are trying to ruin our trade forums too. Let's not let this happen
there too!

I agree! I used to trade to complete sets and insert sets. Now when i
post a list of cards that i need i'm lucky to get one or two
responses. Usually when i post something for trade i'll get a response
of how much you want to sell for. I rather trade dollar for dollar
that way i don't offend a person with a price.I have traded with Ron
and Sharon a few times and have had good trades on both sides.It's a
whole lot better when you get something you need and don't have to pay
