Default Larry bird lime rock cards

Hi,
I was given a box of Larry Bird hologram card sets. The box has 19
unopened sets (I think the box originally held 20 sets). Each set
contains a certificate of authenticity as well as the possibility of
getting one of teh 2500 randomly seeded autographed cards. I am not a
Basketball memorabillia collector... and don't know anything about
them.

These sets do not appear to sell too high on ebay, but then again,
all the sets on ebay are opened. Can someone advise what is the best
thing to do with these? Open them, search for autograp, then sell them
opened.... or sell them as in, in unopened NIP condition or hold
onto them?

THANKS!

* (Interestingly, I also have the original letter from Allan Shawn
Feinstein that came when the original purchaser ordered the set from
the Feinstein Foundation).
