Don't paint me with that same brush. I don't support getting rid of
the rag dollar. It has its uses.
As for the cent, I've lived on overseas military bases where the cent
wasn't used (cost too much to ship over) and everything was rounded up
or down, in the sales total. Worked fine for me and, if for some
reason you had some cents you brought with you or paid by check then
the exact amount would be billed.
Also, the military stopped including change in our paychecks and saved
it until it was a dollar and then added that to the next one. Cut
down greatly on the amount of change the base banks had to keep on
hamd. That was a good idea too.

Just for the record.
I for one don't support getting rid of the $1 FRN
or the 1 Cent coin. On the other hand I don't
support the idea of keeping them either.

Makes no difference to me either way.
And I am pretty definite about that ;-)
