"voice of reason" using spam address wrote: I have about 10 hours in on this now. snip Almost any tube has a 'burn in' period at the factory. At the Western Electric tube plants, this could be as long as a week on beam power tubes, RF heptodes and triodes. The ONLY thing the "burn in" period was designed to do was to show up manufacturing and material defects in newly made tubes. The throium in any vacuum tube starts to deplete as soon as a load is put on it. As usual, Charlie Nudo, aka 66fourdoor, has his head way up his ass. It's no wonder 90% of his auctions are closing with NO BIDS. |

If there's getter on the filaments themselves, it's not supposed to be there. Of course, Charlie Nudo aka 66fourdoor wouldn't know what a "getter" is if his miserable life depended on it. The whole Fisher episode was just another NudoFraud® scam to reap 1000% profit. |
