What do you collect?

I think it might be good if we all just try something positive (third time I
have used it now Kenneth465). How about we start a thread about what people
collect?

I collect auto racing autographs. The majority of my collection is NASCAR
but I am really into Indy 500 drivers and the IRL. Have all the living
winners except two. The month of May here in Indianapolis is a magical time
for collectors of my genre. The men and women I have met during this time
are some of the nicest I have ever met.

That is what I collect and if you ever need any help along those lines let
me know.

Other than that, I keep my pulse on the sports side of autograph collecting
as an interest.

My wife and I have a few main areas we collect - Eastenders, Dr Who, Babylon
5, Watford FC to name some, plus collect others who have either entertained
us or impressed us over the years. The Eastenders autographs are the hub of
our collection without a doubt. I also collect Ingrid Pitt autographs but
have not added them to the website yet.

My wife and I collect ttm as our 22 year old daughter is autistic with
extreme learning difficulties, bi-polar and has hyperacusis. As such we
spend a lot of time at home with her and needed a hobby we could manage from
home. ttm autograph collecting provides that outlet.

You Being Served,Eastenders and some misc actors and actresses...

I collect sports, mainly hockey, plus and SciFi anything I can lay my hands
on (ST, STNG, STV, STDS9, B5, ect).

I collect Vintage Hollywood (yes, that means I do buy but believe it or not
most of my purchases are for contemporary entertainers. You can make a lot of
great finds at flea markets). My top finds are Carole Lombard, Linda Darnell
and Mary Pickford.

I also enjoy Britcoms (Barb- have you ever got Pat Routledge? I've tried but no
success!)

Jen- I think the Playbills are interesting. Are there any out there you are
looking for in particular?

I sent to her April 5....No reply yet....Hope I hear from her...or at
least get my bookcover back(No biggie if I don't but I love the cover)

When I first started collecting, I would write to every show that appeared on
Broadway, and that's what I've continued to do. I have a little over a 100,
right now I would love a cast signed A Raisin in the Sun (now appearing on
Broadway with Sean Puffy/P.Diddy Combs/Phylicia Rashad), Hugh Jackman
autographed Tony Playbill (specifically produced for the Tony Awards Show).
Both are within reach, but I leave for a Study Abroad in South Korea for the
month of July, and whether or not I get time to get them out before I go
remains to be seen. I'm heading up to New York next week, and I'll hopefully
be going to see Wicked, and maybe if possible A Raisin in the Sun, but we'll
see (I'm also hoping to get two Mets games in, if possible.)
