Could it be that even Alan Hagar is so
ashamed of his own grading that he can't
come right out and admit he is
selling an ACG coin? (smile face here).

Dave, I think he is looking for hits. Putting PCGS in the title instead of
ACG probably gets this auction included in a lot more searches. That was
my first thought. Bill

Exactly. Goes against all of eBay's keyword spamming and copyright
infringement provisions, too.

And it pings my Pathetic Meter off the scale considering the seller
is ahcollectibles. Geeeez.

Report it to safe harbor (I already have). It's keywaord spamming,
which violates Ebay's rules.

He's trying to hide from people like me who scan for ACG coins. Alas, I have
that id in my hot list, so it's all for naught.

Actually, I personally believe that Alan Hager DOES know how to grade. It's
just that, in his own business plan, he grades the way he does on purpose.

This idiot Clayton Spencer is becoming even more brazen. This is a direct listing
violation known as keyword spamming and is specifically prohibited by eBay. If this
and any other auctions listed with "Not PCGS" in the title are reported to eBay, they
will end the auction. This is done to include their ACG garbage when someone
searches for "PCGS".

Time to build a bigger bench for those of us who can't bid on AH auctions. I
randomly checked a few of his other coin auctions. QUOTE We reserve the
right to cancel any bid. UNQUOTE

I wonder what they mean by DMPL on this 1878-S Morgan?
http://tinyurl.com/mlzs

Too bad they don't know how to grade. Anyone want to guess on the grade of the
coin? I would say it is MS63 to 64, no DMPL or PL.

Yes, and this is why ACG is so much worse than other bottom feeders like
NTC or TruGrade. NTC is merely incompetent -- I believe they are trying
to run an honest business; they just aren't particularly good at it. ACG
is a fraud, plain and simple. Hager is a criminal, and his entire
enterprise is a blight on the numismatic community.
