From Heaviest to Lightest, Please Arrange, Provide Exact Weight If Possible
I have been using two Rotring Initials with the Broad nib and find I
love everything about it, especially the heft and balance. (I have read postings by people who have said that as they get older they are preferring lighter pens claiming less hand fatigue). I am 54 years old and no fatigue (at least in my writing hand) in sight. I went to a pen store to hold a Talentum and was amazed at how light it was, almost too light, likewise a Pelikan 800. Below is a list of pens I want to own. There are five, but my wife and budget have limited me to three. Regardless of my preferences in nibs, (I want ALL of them), I want to eliminate the lightest two pens: Waterman Carene Royal Violet Stub nib ( I like the heft and metal body. I owned a Hemisphere, dropped it several times and it kept on tickin', something I am totally insecure about from looking at the body construction of the others). Aurora Talentum Red Resin Medium Italic nib Sailor 1911 Green Zoom nib Visconti Van Gogh Sandal Broad nib Pelikan Souveran M8805 Blue 3B nib Thank you in advance to all who reply. Sincerely, Christopher AKA Soundman |
