Default replace a COA?? plz help!

is there anyway or place in northern chicago, to get a new COA? my
girlfriends Dad has Barry Sanders, and Emmitt Smith plaques that are
both signed, and he wants to sell them both, but can not find the COA's
that came with them.

any help would be greatly appreciated!!

In my personal opinion, I wouldn't worry about replacing the COAs. The ink
printed on them is worth more than the paper. Anyone can print up a
certificate and state that the item is real. If her father remembers the
company that he bought the plaques from, it would be just as good. If he
just has to have a COA, tell him that he can go to Office Depot and buy a
package of blank ones and print one out with him stating that they are true
signatures. When it all comes down to it, the COA is worthless. It's the
reputation of the person selling the autograph that counts.

Or have it authenticated by a service. That would go over better than a COA.
Besides, COAs can be doctored. They really aren't that great as far as proving
the autograph's worth.

you can give PSA DNA a go.
Not everyone on here is totally sold on them, but they are the biggest 3rd
party authenticator going around.
