Default Nakaya display at DC Pen Show - ink blotters and poster gifts from Mr. Nakata

Today I recieved my Nakaya tamenuri red, medium flexible two tone nib with
my Kanji in gold Maki-e on the barrel.

Custom made for my hand only - custom hand made nib, custom hand made shape,
custom flex to my specifications.

It is far more beautiful than you can imagine from pictures. That is the
mystique of this pen, it has to be seen in person.
Come to the DC Pen Show and it will be possible.

My own Nakaya tamenuri-red will be on display, and I invite any other proud
owners to visit at my table to show others their Nakaya pens.
I'll also have a sample of the new Nakaya Pen Pillows, seen here.

All visitors will receive a Russ Stutler designed Nakaya ink blotter.
Anyone bringing their own Nakya fountain pen to show will receive a wall
poster of the same beautiful design, and this poster will be signed
personally by Mr. Nakata.

It looks like a lovely pen, but why did you take the picture with the
feed side up when seeing the gold nib adds so much to the esthetics of
the pen? I was curious to see that custom nib that was hand made to
your specs. It sounds wonderful... and expensive!
Enjoy!

Nancy
