Default question to you guys

I haven't been here a quite some time. Hope everyone is fine.

I have a "collectable" coin and wanted to know if any one heard of
them and where I can dispose of it.

Infobverse....LIBERTY...trust in god....USA
doesn't flip like US coins, i think that is called medal?
reverse:American Liberty Dollar....Liberty 2003... dollar $10 silver
one ounce
..999 fine c norfed 2003

Anyone ever hear of this company? Can I assume it is just silver and
take it to a jeweler or coin dealer?

Hope to hear from you guys that every one is fine.

You should simply use any good search engine, you will get information
like:

http://coins.about.com/od/coinbuying...rtydollars.htm

Your piece is silver, the kind that screams "Melt me!!!".

Hi Doris, LTNS! Glad you popped in, even if it is only once a year!
That 'Liberty Dollar' that you have landed Bernard Von Nothaus in
court, and probably jail. Rumor is that it could be confiscated from
you, so my recommendation is to sell it! Silver is up today. Again,
glad to see you!

FWIW, as "contraband" these items are selling at a premium to melt these
days ...

If it were legal to own these, I would have paid about fifty perzent
over melt for two half-ounce $5 pieces and one twentieth-ounce $1 piece
at a show a couple of months ago. If it were legal, I then would have
sold one of the two half-ouncers to a friend for dubble melt ...

There are plenty of these sold openly on eBay.

It's nice to hear from you also.
This piece was given to my niece a few years ago. She was told it
would be the future coinage and she should hold on to it. Anyway, my
sister needs money and wants to get rid of it. I told her I'd ask you
guys if it was really silver and should she just take it to a coin
dealer?

Hope everyone is good.

The piece is good silver, weight and fineness as stated on the piece -
and in my opinion, it is simply scrap silver.

Some people might see it as collectable, but if it were mine, I'd be
happy to get something around "spot" price for one troy ounce of
silver, say thirty dollars.

Just take it to a coin dealer and be done with it.
