Just thought it made the framing more interesting. BTW, it's quite easy to copy/paste some snow on it... Sure, but that's certainly not necessary in Calumet, Michigan -- the only recorded month in which it hasn't snowed there is August and it almost always snows from October-May (though it was unusually mild early this winter). -- Victor Manta ---------------------------------------------------------------------------*- Spanish North Africa:http://www.sna-on.postalstamps.biz/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------*- |

You are difinately an "uper". Never seen one of the creatures in my twelve years dealing with the snowbirds at the Tourist Center. Every one of the "trolls" have been here except the gov and I am still waiting for her to show up. Ralphael, the OLD one |

(The philatelic history of the U.P. isn't very extensive outside of Scott US 1069, 1109, the Bishop Baraga postal card, the Winter Carnival 2007 pictorial postmark, made due to my relentless lobbying for some years, and the first-day-of-issue ceremony for the 2002 snowman stamps, which I personally attended (and the nonsensical "unveiling" of a snowflake stamp after it was already issued -- the photo for which was taken in Houghton, which I did not); further personalised postage includes ZazzleStamps of Michigan Technological University's Wadsworth Hall (http://www.zazzle.com/danielcboyer/p...1723521510464), Houghton's Huron Square (http://www.zazzle.com/product/ 172792788855919655) and Franklin Square Inn (http://www.zazzle.com/ product/172374603721278987), panoramic views of Ripley and Hancock(http://www.zazzle.com/collections/pr...t/product.asp? cid=238605897421233739&general_recs_per_page=9&sea rching=on&searching_search_columns= %2A&searching_search_condition=michigan&caching=on &product_id=172551502837930322&index=9), Michigan College of Mines (now Michigan Technological University) (http://www.zazzle.com/collections/pr...t/product.asp? cid=238605897421233739&general_recs_per_page=9&pag ing_page=2&searching=on&searching_search_columns= %2A&searching_search_condition=michigan&caching=on &product_id=172472126380370390&index=10) and maps of Ironwood (http://www.zazzle.com/collections/products/ product/product.asp? cid=238063250767394080&general_recs_per_page=9&sea rching=on&searching_search_columns= %2A&searching_search_condition=michigan&caching=on &product_id=172200214559547185&index=6) and Marquette (http://www.zazzle.com/collections/products/product/ product.asp? cid=238063250767394080&general_recs_per_page=9&pag ing_page=2&searching=on&searching_search_columns= %2A&searching_search_condition=michigan&caching=on &product_id=172437585055182242&index=17).
