Default 2004 US Mint Silver Proof Set - Weak Date

I received my 2004 US Mint Silver Proof Set recently and immediately noticed
that the date on the Peace Medal Nickel was unreadable. Both of the last two
digits are unreadable. Might this qualify as an error? Proof sets are not
supposed to have such coins. Would this increase the value or did I just get
screwed?
