Winners of the New York City Pen Show Writing Contest - Some Surprizes
Hi Everyone:
Well, we are starting to get back to near normal following a very hectic and exciting show. As some of you know by now, the winners of the writing contest were selected on September 6, and if they were local, their prizes were to be presented to them at the show. Well, it turned out that the winners were from New York City, however, it was difficult to reach some of them. We finally notified all of them and if you would like to read the winning essays and find out some information about the contestants, please visit the website at http://www.nycpenshow.com/contest.html I promise it is well worth the effort. These kids were fantastic. I have posted pictures were I had them and as soon as I have more pictures, I will post them as well. These kids did an incredible job of writing and we are very proud of all of them. I listed the top ten submissions. I wish that all of them could have won, but . . . next year will be a larger contest. Best regards, Maryann Zucker New York City Pen Show http://www.nycpenshow.com |
