I have been suspended by ebay unfairly for relisting SEGS and PCI
coins. Ebay claims they are counterfeit, but THEY ARE NOT!!!
I've been a seller for years, ebay doesn't know what they are doing, yet
my income is gone!!!! This is the ANA's fault for starting this with ebay
but not following through to make sure that it was implemented in a
sensible and fair way.

I am a member of the ANA and contacted Barry Stuppler, who suggested
that I contact the ebay T&S office. Well they told me that if I
continue to "harass" ebay my suspension will never be lifted!!

Who needs this B-S???

I called the Federal Trade commission to report ebay's unfair
treatment of "unapproved" grading services. Please do the same.

And consider CANCELLING your ANA membership. They do NOTHING for the
little collector..they are beholden to the big dealerships and the
big grading companies.

Let's see. You had listings taken down for policy violations,
and re-listed them without first understanding how to not
violate policy again. This was an IQ test. You failed.

... SEGS and PCI coins.

According to other responses here, these can be sold on
eBay, but you can't put the verbotten abbreviation in the
title or item specifics.

... Ebay claims they are counterfeit, ...

I'll bet they didn't. They may have sent a suggestively worded
email, but show us the literal quote of them claiming counterfeit.

I think you need to sue the ANA for failing to tell you how
to play under the new rules. There's little doubt the roll-out was
totally incompetent.

Also whine in AMOE. It's about as effective.

And consider CANCELLING your ANA membership.

A spark of enlightenment appears on the horizon.

I'm not a coin seller, just an observer of inept eBay management.

You win the bet.

What is funny is that coin dealers brought this on themselves because
they complained so much to eBay about counterfeits and bad grading
practices that eBay finally polled a bunch of coin dealers about what to
do about it and they asked for what they've now got. And continue to
complain about. Sheesh.

Sheesh.

I would say the coin dealers selling TPG slabs that are known to be grossly
overgraded brought this upon themselves.

Some clain that NGC is fraudulent since their MS70 modern junk is
worth only a
fraction of PCGS MS70 modern junk. Fact is, every grading service has
their
own, usually unpublished, standards. The market determines the value
of
each company's "product" and the acceptabilty in the marketplace.

PCGS, in their grading book, claims coins graded as high as MS66 can
show "rub"

OK fine but I think we are talking about two different things.

If enough people are getting ripped off on eBay then that is going to hurt
eBay in the long run. They may have been foolish or did not do their
homework but that is no excuse for ripping someone off. It is still wrong
to knowingly sell an overgraded coin.

Isn't this the same, er, challenged person, who whined about this twice
or more already here?

Has anyone ever read a post by Hinz that was even remotely helpful or
connected to numismatics in any way? Just wondering.
