Default 2 1/2 Indian Gold?

Howdy;

Is it just me or does the $2 1/2 gold piece look "funny"? At first
I thought it has been polished, but......

Your thoughts

It might be the lighting along with the way it is worn. I have one
(1909) in pristine condition, and it doesn't have this kind of
reflection. Also, as you said, it might have been cleaned.

The coin is in a flip, and the seller used flash when photographing
it. You are seeing the reflection of the flash on the glassine
window.

That doesn't mean the coin hasn't been polished, but it does account
for the appearance in the image.
