Default Information requested on San Diego Silver medal

A friend has a medal I'd like to know more about. It is a 1969 San
Diego 200th Anniversary 3 inch Silver Commemorative medal that has very
high relief. There is a fair amount of information on the web about
bronze medals of this issue, but I couldn't find anything about the
Silver 3 inch.

Was a silver 3 inch medal issued? What is the approximate value?

Thanks for any info.

It's a National Commemorative Medal, struck by the U. S. Mint in
Philadelphia (hence the "P" mintmark on the reverse). 1,250 struck
pursuant to Public Law 90-124 (81 Stat. 362). All have the serial
number 1 on the edge for some reason ...

The weight is almost exactly 8 troy ounces, and the fineness is .900, so
the medal contains about 7.2 troy ounces of fine silver, with a current
melt value of around $203. I usually sell these medals for melt when I
have them in stock.
