FS: Rare Danville VA 1902 $20 note finest of 2 known
Wow, just acquired the rarest item I have encountered in 21 years of
professional full time numismatics! A 1902 plain back $20 note from First National Bank of Danville, VA. It's in a new CGA holder graded 30. The searches through auction catalogs and online turn up only my note, and one other - which is an AG-G rag. (look at the photo of the only other known note on my auction listing) Asking price is $4,500, same as an auction price for a similar note from the same city (different bank) with population 2. Serious offers considered. http://www.ebay.com/itm/110935346361 Thanks for looking Frank Provasek www.frankcoins.com |
