Refillable roller ball pen?
I've been using standard drugstore and Staples roller ball pens. The last two or three I bought ran out of in in one (1, ONE) day. That means in a month I'll have to spend $40.00 for pens. Ballpoints cramp my hand. Is there a refillable roller ball pen akin to classic fountain pens? What's the price range? TIA. PS I actually do collect pens, since I irrationally save many of the empty pens because it just infuriated me to buy something with that engineering and then throw it away. I have only several dozen, though. |

It takes fountain pen cartridges... you might also be able to use a converter with it, but it doesn't come with one. -- Alan Shutko - I am the rocks. Love, like youth, is wasted on the young. |

Try using something like a Uniball Vision Elite - this has a visible,
and large, ink reservoir. If you can run one of these out of ink in a day you must have more than the output of Stephen King in his prime producing years. Alternately buy a 'classic' fountain pen like a Parker 51 in fine - you won't need any cartridges, and they are rather smooth writing pens. As they are vintage you are not even causing pollution for the prodution of a new one. Alan Shutko wrote: Contrarian writes: Is there a refillable roller ball pen akin to classic fountain pens? Just found the Lyra Calypso at this site:
http://www.stores.ebay.com/id=1317891&ssPageName=L2 It is a rollerball which accepts standard international cartridges or a convertor. Don't know how long it will hold up, but it's a great idea.
