Broadstruck?
Is this cent what you would call "broadstruck?" It feel like it is slightly
bowl-shaped. The reverse is also rotated about 5 degrees from what it should be. How many summer homes could I buy with this gem? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5...8/Dscn0566.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5...8/Dscn0564.jpg |

This effect was caused by die fatigue (die wear). It's not a broadstrike.
It's rather common in copper-plated Lincoln cents and has no market value. Host: Error Coin Information Exchange (Yahoo:Groups); CONECA #2969. My opinions do not necessarily reflect those held by any organization I am a member of.. |

And anecdotally, from my eyeballing 1,000 lincoln cents every couple weeks, it's most commonly found on 1986 and 1987 Lincolns. The class of 1995 seems particularly 'problem-free'. ;-) Alan 'learning to grade by smell' |
