Default Surprise (kind of) Received In Change

Today while the clerk at the convenience store was counting out my change I
heard a rather distinctive "clink" as the coins dropped into the palm of his
hand. The telltale sound spoiled the surprise as he handed me the two dimes,
the quarter and the Kennedy half that added up to the 95 cents I was due.

As far as I can remember the last Kennedy half I received in change was several
years ago at a coin shop. This one was a very clean AU+ 1972-D. I don't expect
to have it very long. As I did with the last one received, I will probably pass
this one on..
