Default Looking for good reference or books on cursive writing

I am just beginning fountain pen collecting and I am fascinated by
cursive writing. So far I have picked up a new Waterman on sale at a
local office supply and purchase a vintage Sheaffer lifeline plus a
selection of inks and papers off the internet to experiment with. Last
night I got around to inking the Lifeline and noodleing around with it
a bit, after a few minute some of my cursive skills began to come back
to me. This got me wondering if anyone sells books that teach cursive
writing skills. I suppose I could look online for some elementary
school handwriting primers from the nineteen fifties.

Interesting that one of my coworkers who is a
teacher/artists/architect/engineer in his seventies was lamenting that
no one writes in cursive anymore.

If anyone can recommend some resources on cursive writing it would be
appreciated.

Thank you,
Scott

I'd start off with looking at the two major schools of cursive:
D'Nealian and Zaner-Bloser.

However, cursive is a handwriting that is invarriably stylized by the
writer far beyond the techniques instructed by those who design the
system - which is the appeal of cursive to those who don't want to see
it vanish from the face of the earth.
