Default Help with "Peter and Wendy"

I was given a copy of J.M. Barrie's "Peter and Wendy" and am trying to
figure out exactly what it is in respect to edition/printing etc. I havn't
been able to figure this out by searching on the net so I thought I'd ask
this group.
It has dark blue boards, gold lettering only on the spine the lists "Peter
and Wendy J.M.Barrie Grosset & Dunlap", inside it says Copyright 1911 by
Charles Scribners Sons. The book is in excellent condition but no dust
jacket. I have no idea about editons/printings for this book so I thought
someone here could direct me to an appropriate website/resource. I am a
novice but is it a first american edition? Thanks.

Sorry, it's not. The "first American" is the Scribner's 1911 edition.
Grosset & Dunlap is (primarily) a reprint publisher.

Except for juvenile series fiction.
G&D was the original publisher of such series as the Hardy Boys, Nancy

Drew,
Tom Swift, Rick Brant, Ken Holt and many others.

Which is why I said "primarily".
